In some cases, you may get the error message
Cannot connect to My Kaspersky portal
.
Cause
The
Kaspersky Lab
installer attempts to send the license information to
My Kaspersky
and fails due to network traffic restrictions.
Solution
To fix the problem, you need to disable restrictions for outbound network traffic on port
443
:
Open
Windows Firewall
.
In the left frame of the
Windows Firewall
window, click the
Advanced settings
link.
In the left frame, click
Outbound Rules
.
In the list of outbound rules, find and double-click the rule
BranchCache Hosted Cache Client (HTTP-Out)
for
TCP
protocol, port
443
.
The
Properties
window will open. Make sure you are on the
General
tab of the rule's properties window.
Select the check box
Enabled
.
On the same tab, enable the option
Allow the connection
.
Click
OK
to save the changes.
